Western Airlines Promotional Letter Opener in Samurai Sword style.

Description

This unusual and I believe very scarce Western Airlines letter opener is in the style of a
Japanese Samurai sword. It measures 8 1/4" overall. The blade is 4" long and is stamped "Japan".
The blade also has a wavy temper line visible on both sides. The back of the black wood scabbard
is marked ""Fly Wester Airlines to San Francisco (Visit China Town)" . The ends of the scabbard
say "Use Air Freight" and  "Use Air Mail".
