Very Rare Antique Pressed Opaque White Glass Cup Plate, LR - 342, c. 1835-1845. This cup plate is Lee-Rose #342 and it was classified as very rare and this example is in opaque white glass, which makes it even harder to find. This cup plate was probably manufactured at a glass company in the Philadelphia area. This cup plate has an attractive design of a cross in the center with a sunburst pattern on the rim. This is a very attractive opaque white flint glass cup plate. I offer this very rare glass cup plate with no reserve. SIZE: The cup plate is 3/8" H. x 3 5/16" Dia.. CONDITION: The condition is very good for sch and early and very rare colored glass cup plate, with one shallow chip and some tiny nicks and roughness around the rim the only excuse. There are the usual imperfections found in early flint glass such as sand, bubbles, inclusions and striations.
