Offered here is an
unusual
metallic type glaze Gouda vase from the 1940's-50's.  This lovely vase is marked as UNIQUE METALLIQUE on the bottom but the whole manufacturer's label looks like it "ran" when the glaze flowed over its surface.  Check out my 2nd UNIQUE METALLIQUE VASE to see what the markings look like on a similar vase and then you can make out the basic info on this vase a little easier.
While most Gouda decor used a floral basis, this UNIQUE METALLIQUE series of vases used experimental glazes to produce a unique, often high glaze type finish.  Has remnants of a foil Gouda label on the upper rim in the blue-green section just under the top rim.  The vase measures 2 3/4" diameter across the bottom, 2" diameter across the top, has a maximum diameter of just over 4", and a height of 4 1/2".  No crazing, cracks, or breaks - a few use marks & scratches are present but don't distract greatly from the beauty of this piece.  Enjoy displaying this lovely Gouda vase in your home/collection at the end of this auction.
