Scarce Antique Sandwich Glass Cup Plate, LR - 65, Thick Flint Glass, c. 1828-1835. This scarce Sandwich Glass cup plate is Lee-Rose #65 and it was one of the earliest cup plates manufactured at the Sandwich Glass factory. This cup plate has an attractive geometric stars design with a scalloped rim. This thick early flint glass cup plate is offered here with no reserve. SIZE: The cup plate is 1/2" H. x 3 1/4" Dia.. CONDITION: The condition is very good with some roughness to the rim. There are the usual imperfections found in early flint glass such as sand, bubbles, inclusions and striations.
