They were purchased by the DOD and then stored and never deployed. A few had the "stow" switch option so I am going to offer these for broadcast news people. These also had a military up grade of stainless steel motor mounts. The QPT90 115VDC is the default choice for truck builders as it allows easy speed control and is light enough for most mast mounts. If you have a truck it is only a mater of time before someone damages your posistioner. Average cost for a repair is about ,000. Best to have a spare on hand. Shipping will be CONUS it is 40 pounds packed. Alaska , HI and other non CONUS will be more. Know what your buying a return stocking fee of 20% will be charged. I am a CBTE with 38 years in news and this is a bargon on a ,000 item that was bought and then stored. Up graded Ham units will be posted later. The upgrade is follow pots not needed for a news van.
