Description
Offered is a beautifully done, amethyst/purple colored plate with a heavily detailed variant of the "Sandwich" pattern that I believe dates to the Lacy Period in American Glass history, 1825-1851. The front of the plate is smooth while the back has the dots, scrolls and heavy overall design typical of the Lacy Period designs. There is a mold line in front of the scalloped rim and the rim has uncut glass between each scallop. I didn't locate a name or exact maker for this pattern, but would love to hear from anyone who has more information. It's a beautiful piece of antique glass and especially spectacular when held up to the light. Please visit my eBay store, The Antiques Nook, to see lots more items for sale. I often add new items and I offer a different group of

I'll be happy to combine multiple purchases into one package to try to save you on shipping costs. However, most of the shipping services added an extra fee for any package bigger than 12x12x12 inches, so it's often more cost effective to keep the items in separate boxes to avoid the oversized box fee. I'll try to check it both ways and give you the best price. If an oversized box is needed for any package, FedEx is often the most cost-effective way to send it and I'll use them instead if that's the case. Please use the eBay shipping calculator to determine the cost of shipping. If you would like a package shipped by a method not shown OR can't use a specific service, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
Please examine the pictures carefully as they are part of the item description. All prices are in U.S. dollars. I use environmentally friendly Eco-nuts in packing.
