    Description

Here we have a nice early GIII-25 salt cellar that was likely made by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. sometime between 1820-1840. The form is great with a wide tapering body that has a flared out lip. The base has a nice open pontil scar from the blowing process. The pattern is pretty weak especially on the foot. This salt stands 1 3/4" tall X 2 5/8" wide. There is an area of chipping to one portion of the rim as well as a few other scattered smaller flakes. Still displays very nicely! A great early salt!
