    Description

    This is an Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) clear 5 1/2 inch spooner or vase in the
    Acorn Bands (AKA Acorn and Oak Leaf) pattern by Portland Glass.  It was produced circa 1864.  The piece stands about 5 1/2 inches tall (at the top of the waves), about 5 3/8th inches tall (at the lowest part of the wave), about 3 3/8th inch across the top.  The foot is about 3 inches across with a 3 seam mold.
    The glass is crystal clear with no clouding.  There is no hard water or dishwasher use evidence.     I do combine ship as long as I feel the pieces will not be compromised.
    I package all items in recycled peanuts and bubble wrap.
    All items are well protected.  I do require insurance and that is included in the Postal.
    I will be responsible to file all breakage claims and paperwork.  The buyer will provide the photos of the damage, box, and shipping label on notification of breakage.  Save all items (Including packing material, box, and items broken and unbroken) you may be required to present them during the claim with the post office. I will notify the buyer when the claim process is over so that they may dispose of the packing material and damaged
    items.
    Please do not pay until I have invoiced you.  The shipping calculator makes mistakes that will overcharge you sometimes.  I will refund any cost over the actual postage, if it is over .50. I will never charge you additional postage for an item if the calculator makes a mistake in your favor.
