The auction offers a Sandwich Glass "Pressed Heart and Sheaf" Variant Dish, 7" Dia., Boston and Sandwich Glass Co., c. 1828 - 1832. This flint glass dish is a variant one of the earliest examples of the pressed Heart and Sheaf glass patterns manufactured at Sandwich. This dish is similar to Barlow, plate #1008 + 1009. It is also similar to Ruth Webb Lee plate #105. I offer this very early flint glass Sandwich "Pressed Heart and Sheaf" dish with a Buy It Now. SIZE: The Sandwich Glass dish is 13/16" H. x 7" Dia.. CONDITION: The condition is very good with some minor rim roughness the only excuse. The flint glass dish does exhibit the manufacturing flaws prevalent in early flint glass.
