This auction is for an Antique Sandwich Clear Flint Glass Cup Plate, LR-311, c. 1830-1850. This is a very attractive flint glass cup plate with a star and dots pattern in the center and diamonds spread across the perimeter. The cup plate is Lee-Rose #311 and it is Barlow #1381. This example has a couple of small chips and nicks to the rim as pictured, which is much better condition than normal. Barlow valued this cup plate at 0 in opaque white it does not list one in opalescent glass. I offer this Sandwich clear glass cup plate with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The cup plate is 1/2" Thick. 3 9/16" Dia.. CONDITION: The condition is good with a couple of small chips and nicks to the rim. The glass also exhibits some wonderful flaws found in the early glass of this period. There an annealing mark that runs across the bowl area and other flaws such as; sand, bubbles, straw marks and striations.
