Antiqu EAPG 10" Flint Glass Comport Compote Pedestal Bowl Diamond Point Sandwich

Description

An uncommon large early American pressed flint glass compote in a diamond point and spider web pattern.  The base is joined to the bowl with a glass wafer.  The pattern has been attributed to New England Glass Co and Boston & Sandwich.  It measures 9 3/4" high by 10 1/2" across.  In very good antique condition with no cracks or repairs, though some nibbling to the underside rim as shown and a few upper rim nicks with some expected as-made bubbles, straw marks, etc.  Rings "for days" when tapped.
