    Description

    Beautiful 19th century flint glass compote with wheel engraved Greek Key border.  Cut stem with 8 sides and a hollow stem.   Base is ground and polished with cut rays design.   Good quality glass with good clarity and a beautiful sound when tapped that rings on.   Condition is excellent for its age with no chips or cracks.  Expected shelf wear on base.  Bowl has a few faint scratches acquired over its 150 year life.   Possibly Pittsburgh Glass.   A wonderful piece to add to your collection.  See photos.
    Measures approximately 7 1/4 inches tall.   7 1/4 inches in diameter at the rim.
