    Description

    1856 – 1875 hexagonal covered sugar bowl which was made toward the end of the Lacy period of glass making.
    It was advertised in the Curling, Robertson & Co., of Pittsburgh catalog of 1856-1857.
    It also was shown in the New England catalog of 1868.
    It measures approx. 5 ½” from base to top of finial and is 4 ¾” across.
    There is a chip on the inside rim of bowl, two small chips on inside rim of lid, and on the underside of base there are a couple of small chips/nicks.
