    Description

    Here is a beautiful antique flint glass cup plate.  This plate is a cup plate manufactured in 1841 and is a commemorative souvenir for Bunker Hill.  On the plate states "Corner stone laid by Lafayette, finished by the ladies in 1841".  It is referred to as "Lee's #645A"  This cup plate measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter.  It has a beautiful tone when tapped. This cup plate is in very nice condition for its age.  There is a small 1/4 inch surface chip on the bottom of the plate (See photo #2 at 11:00 position). The rim is in very good condition.  Nice for your collection.
