Description

This is an early pontiled flint glass nappie bowl hand blown in a 3 pc mold at the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co in the 1820s....it is grouped my McKearin as GII-22...Diamond quilted band with ribbed bottom....folded over rolled rim...clear flint glass....5 7/8"round x 1 1/2"deep.....rough pontil scar on bottom.....Sparkling mint condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean nappie with no stain. This is a scarce early blown nappie bowl
